The two crucial questions
In preparing for a couple of upcoming presentations, I'm re-reading PresentationZen by Garr Reynolds, who talks about the two crucial question for a presentation:
- What's your point?
- Why does it matter?
I thought about this in the context of the Legal Project Management workshops I'm preparing.
My point - Take the time to talk to you client about what they want to achieve from engaging you, develop a strategy and plan to maximise the chances of success.
Why it matters - law is a service profession where the client judges us in large part by the experience they have with their lawyer.
